TBA Foundation responds to Central Texas storms

Tom Adams and Terry Whitley of Security Bank of Texas, Faron Phinney of Horizon Bank, United Way CEO/President Stephanie O’Banion, Chris Furlow, Bobby Hoxworth of First National Bank Texas and Brian Reinhardt of Extraco Bank. On behalf of banks in Central Texas, the Texas Bankers Foundation provided financial help in response to the May tornado in Temple and other destructive storms in the region. An initial $2,500 contribution was made to the United Way of Central Texas to supplement those being made by area community banks.

“Already this year, the Texas Bankers Foundation has responded to Panhandle wildfires and flooding in SE Texas,” said Foundation Chair Hazel Davis. “Through the Foundation, you can help TBA be prepared to quickly respond to future disasters — wherever they may happen in Texas.”
