Frost Bank becomes official financial literacy partner of Texas Rangers in its first MLB deal

Frost Bank and Texas Rangers logosIn April, Frost Bank and the Texas Rangers announced a partnership designating Frost as the team’s Official Financial Literacy Partner. This collaboration, and first-ever MLB partnership for the Texas-based bank, recognizes financial literacy as critical to empowering the Dallas-Fort Worth region, a key commitment of both organizations.

The partnership will reach families across Texas through two key initiatives: Rangers Youth Academy programming presented by Frost, offering hands-on financial literacy education, and Frost Fridays, special game day activations designed for fans during all Friday home games this season.

“Partnering with the Texas Rangers is a natural fit for Frost, with shared values of integrity, caring and excellence as a testament of our commitment to Texas communities,” said Rod Washington, Frost’s region president for the Dallas area.

Hadley Woerner, Frost’s region president in Tarrant County, added, “We're looking forward to sharing the most exciting moments of the Rangers’ season with our customers across North Texas.”

“Partnering with Frost allows us to further our Foundation's commitment to developing the next generation,” said EVP and Chief Business Officer of the Texas Rangers, Jim Cochrane. “Through Youth Academy programming and Frost Friday experiences at Globe Life Field, this relationship will create meaningful opportunities that emphasize financial literacy for young people throughout the Metroplex.”

Frost and the Texas Rangers have long recognized their responsibility to strengthen Texas communities. For more than 150 years, Frost has invested in financial education across the state, while the Rangers have built powerful youth development programs and community partnerships, making this a natural collaboration.
