Foreclosure of Lien

In Texas a quasi-judicial process is used to foreclose on liens securing home equity loans, HELOCs and reverse mortgages.  The Bank must obtain a court order approving the foreclosure prior to conducting a nonjudicial foreclosure.  The Texas Supreme Court promulgated a special procedure to expedite the process of obtaining the requisite order [Tex. Rules of Civil Procedure 735 & 736].
