An Environmental Guaranty is an agreement by a guarantor to pay for environmental compliance and cleanup. It can include an obligation to pay the underlying loan debt or it can be limited just to environmental obligations. In addition to paying for environmental compliance and cleanup it typically indemnifies the lender against losses resulting from environmental conditions.
